This video has been some time coming! I’m constantly changing up my routine as I’m realizing my skin has different needs now that I’m in my mid-30s. That’s not to say you shouldn’t use these if you’re in your 20s because I truly believe it’s never too early to start! My mom introduced me to eye cream in college! It was light, nothing too strong but still I’m grateful that she made me aware of my skin and how to take care of it.
Below is a breakdown of products (in order of use), in large part from this line I was recently introduced to, INSTYTUTUM. I’ve been testing out the past few months and am really impressed at how my skin is taking to it!
Neutrogena makeup wipes:
I’ve always loved makeup wipes for when I’m too lazy to wash my face, or on the go and need to take my face off. However, that alone will no longer cut it for me. I have to religiously wash my face daily to keep my skin in tact. This is a great start!
INSTYTUTUM Cleansing Milk:
I used to be an avid user of exfoliating based cleansers but am realizing they’re a little tough on my skin for daily use. I really like this cleanser because it’s like a liquid balm that feels super velvety on my skin. It also takes all residual makeup I have on!
Neutrogena OIl-Free Eye makeup remover:
For stubborn makeup that just a cleanser can’t do, I love this stuff. It’s from the drugstore and you don’t have to tug at your eye area to remove all the gunk.
INSTYTUTUM Flawless Skin Mask:
I usually mask 1-2x a week or at least I TRY to..but when I really want a good deep clean I’ll use this one. It’s $69 for 1 mask so I use it about once a month. But it really does feel like an at-home facial. My skin is normally on the more dry side and this keeps it well hydrated.
GLOPRO Microneedling tool:
This little tool is AMAZING! I’ve been using it for the past 6 months or so and absolutely notice tighter skin and minimized pores. Because I love makeup I want to keep my pores as tight as possible so application is easy. This has helped tremendously. It’s like the clarisonic, but to use prior to applying serums. It helps open up the skin to help better penetrate your products. Totally worth it in my book, especially if you don’t have the budget or want to get regular treatments elsewhere.
INSTYTUTUM Flawless Pads:
If I had to choose one thing out of the bunch to keep this would be it. I love that it’s in a pad form – easy to use on the go – but it also improves skin tone and texture. If you have an uneven complexion or old acne marks, this really helps accelerate the lightening process and just evens everything out nicely. I’m noticing my skin more sensitive to age spots and brown spots. They’re minor now but I don’t want to have to deal with them later if I can prevent them!
INSTYTUTUM Oyster Renewal Serum:
I have tried so many serums over the years and there are a lot I really like. This one stands out because I feel like it is really addressing some wrinkle concerns I have. Mainly a few on my forehead and around my laugh lines and it’s really softened them.
INSTYTUTUM Lifting Cream:
Probably one of the creamiest moisturizers ever. I literally wake up with my skin still moisturizing. For dry skin like mine this is ideal. And for the fall and winter months.
INSTYTUTUME Eye Cream:
This eye cream makes me feel more awake. I totally feel like it has tightened my skin over time and keeps the skin around the eye super hydrated. It has also helped with any darkness and bags from sleepless nights.
Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Pen:
I know I’m not a teenager anymore but OMG I love this thing! Anytime I feel a big one coming on I just use this up to 3x a day and I swear my zits and pimples either go away or are very easy to deal with. It’s like going to your derm in the convenience of your own home.
