Oh, I for got to say if you use Vaseline first all over the body let it soak for 30 minutes before putting on the self tanner, but make sure you wipe off the Vaseline your skin will look really great natural and gives your skin a more smooth feeling. Make sure you let the Vaseline set for 30 minutes before wiping it off, try this and let me know how well you like your tan also put a little on the face Vaseline on the face also helps prevent wrinkles in the future. Everyone tells me I look 15 years old and I'm 33 years old It feels good to get compliments on how young I look If I look 15 years younger great. It's really all because I use Vaseline all the time and I don't have any wrinkles. Use Vaseline and the Tomas self tanner you will never have to use a tanning bed or sun again perfect looking skin all year round. Also Vaseline is a good conditioner for the skin because our skin does get dry everyone has dry skin some where, but using Vaseline helps prevent ashy skin and wrinkles.

I have been using the Tomas for years and i have tried all of them out there and I find that Tomas is the best in the market the more you use it the browner you get and the color last for weeks.

i had problems with my legs and feet,,i would always end up with streaks and they looked super blotchy! i found the solution- baby oil! 2 days before applying the tanner i use baby oil all over my body.. and voila- perfect tanned legs! no streaks! also when i put the oil on every day as a moisturizer, my tan lasts up to 10 days 🙂

I live in a beach resort town & I consistently get complimented on my tan. My skin is also soft because of the extra steps with the lotions I add in. I love your tip about doing hands and wrists with a cotton ball! Ingenius!

I love the Banana Boat self tanners! I always apply a light lotion all over the area I want to tan, then go over joints/dry patches with a heavier body cream/butter. I also coat my hands with the heavy cream/butter & use gloves. Once all of that is dry, I put on the self tanner. I use the cream usually twice a week and use the spray in between to keep my color looking good. The trick with the spray is to sort of blot with a hand towel, like the first Mystic booth had you do.

What do you do about fading? I like tanners, but two weeks after I get this flaky look, even if I keep using it. Dose that happen to you?

Thanks for the video! I have used sunless tanners over the years off and on and I can say that it takes a lot of practice to get it right! lol One sunless tanner that I absolutely love is SUN Laboratories. It has a minimal smell to it and it has a color guide. It is a little pricey, but it's soooo worth it!

Thanks for the review. Self tanner on deep dark skin is not normally to make you darker but to even out skin and to give the golden glow. Some dark complexions have a sallow color which can look sickly so they might use a self tanner to add some gold tones into their skin.

Would you advise moisturizing the whole body before you put the self-tan? I know you mentioned about just elbows and knees, but is it ok to moisturize all over first? Thanks 🙂
