We all know real beauty comes from within and if we take this quite literally, that means supplementing our diets with beauty-boosting ingredients. A quick way to do this is with tonics. We got together with Lorna Jane Clarkson, the founder of Lorna Jane Active Wear, to learn how to make two tonics from her new cookbook, Nourish, that improve our health and beauty.
1/2 cup coconut water
Grated 1/2 inch fresh turmeric (or ground)
1/4 TSP found cinnamon
2 teaspoons manuka honey
1/2 cup thawed frozen mixed berries
1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1 tablespoon white chia seeds
