Handsome, boyish beauty is big for this A/W. This trend for hair and make-up fits in perfectly with the tailored jackets, pared down tuxedos and modern take on leather thats around this season. The trick to doing this successfully and ending up looking like a very pretty, chic boy lies with the key areas ….skin, brows and sculpting. Watch this video for tips on how to pull of this fun and transformative beauty trend. Think Tilda Swinton, channel your inner androgyny and man up for the coming season!

Disclaimer
I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

I love this because I have a very androgynous face and I always wished I looked more feminine because of my style but now I love my bigger sharp features and I look fierce and unique

As an androgynous girl who has been criticized and bullied for her looks, I thank you from the deep of my heart far this makeup look.
They made fun of my looks so I'm gonna enhance it even more now 😏

WOW, you are fantastic!!! great voice and tempo. I am male and every once and awhile add a splash of makeup for fun sake (usually a unique event) and thought to share a use of blush in a "manly" way; a strong swipe up the masseter muscle, the inside corner of the jaw to just beneath the "apple" of the cheek…try it sometime, it's rad, manly and strong. thanks for the presentation.

I almost wish you would have left the brows a bit more "boxy" on the outer edge the sharp tail sort of to away the appeal of it being masculine by making it a bit more feminine. It's still lovely but I preferred it without the sharp tail.

I adore Lisa entirely, but I feel like the inner parts of her eyebrows were too narrow for the amount of bulk she added when she lowered her arch. Like, if she'd added just a bit more powder towards the front of the brows I'd have been satisfied. As in the thicker part of brows is usually the inner start portion, and it tapers down towards the tail- but this one felt a little backwards. That said, I'm thoroughly pleased to see that her androgynous video has resonated with so many people for so many reasons and purposes.

I’m a (very amateur) drag king and vaguely gnc person. It’s nice to have something that bridges that gap. Full on drag makeup is by nature not something you can wear normally, but sometimes i want to look more masc in my real life. Thank you.
