Not a lot of people know that saying but I know that all to well, " All money ain't good money", and just for future inlays you always gotta adhere your gems or in Lay's or whatever before you incapsolate them with clear acirlic and you know how you were saying you didn't want to mess them up by the liquid and powder ratio you won't if you adhere them with gel or a more pastier acidic and I just realized you said it was your first time doing this lol but yeah you are going through the trial and error stages. So far so good they look awesome for the first time. How did they feel after you were done and how long did they last?

Destroying money may be a crime. … The general thinking seems to be “it's MY money, so I should be allowed to write on it, tear it up or burn it as a protest against the banking system if I want to.” But in fact, it's technically illegal to deface U.S. currency to the point at which it's rendered unusable.Aug 9, 2010

You could use water Decals on top of your finished acrylics then topcoat them in with gel polish top coat! You just soak them in water for about 60 secs , then get your tweezers , pick off the decal and place it in nail , and that's it after u top coat, just telling u in case u never herd of them , I had not until recently , they are fun, yiu should try them X great diy though !! 👍

Your nails are so gorgeous I love them. One pointer tho, working with such wet consistency can cause the nail to be very brittal and break. Not sure if that's an issue for you but if so that may be why.. Also adding a little of glitter in with the money would have saved you that step of adding that polish around it. I hope you don't take it the wrong way your nails came out beautiful. I just thought this would be helpful. Keep it up doll your doing great.

I've cut up a lot of money to put on my nails from $1 to $100 bills. It looks real. You took me way back. I have been doing this for almost 20 years.

i thought it was fake…looks fake, but then i remembered the vast differences in variables for old versus 'uncirculated' bills. also i assume you would want to showcase a denomination greater than $. Is it legal to deliberately destroy U.S. currency ? oh, wait that's the U.S. flag…

😱 OMG that's a real dollar bill! If it was paper it would have crinkled up when the monomer wet it; bills are made of a cotton fiber paper so they're much more durable and can take being wet… Plus, it's two sided so either it's real $$ or you've got a ton of time on your hands to be printing out double-sided bills! Lol 😊 Sick design tho! Love it!
