Today we wanna talk about some ways to make your self-tanning go a little bit better. Number one, prepping your skin; it is good to exfoliate first. And, if you wanna do your face, if you use a lot of foundation, you might not want to tan your face. I don’t self-tan my face, I just darken my foundation to match the rest of me in the self-tanning arena. There are a number of different ways that you can apply self-tanner. If you are using your bare hands don’t wait til you do your whole body and then wash your hands. Because that pigment is going to be going into your palms. So do a leg, wash your hands. Do your torso wash your hands. Another thing you can use is gloves. This is my favorite way to put it on because it is super easy. If you are going to use gloves make sure that they are gloves that they fit your hands pretty closely. Another thing you can do is a mitt. Mitts are very easy and a lot of people love them. Strictly personal preference but a lot of the self-tanners come with a mitt. Kate is naturally very very fair skin, she loves to self-tan. She and I are big fans of self-tanning. This is one of the newest self-tanners we have and it’s a mouse. Anything that goes on immediate dark, what you are seeing in that color is not the self-tanner at first, it’s a marker. The good thing about a self-tanner that goes on with color is you can see it where you are putting it. This one has a color, and you’re just going to go, and now I can see where I am putting it. This has a nice light texture. It is going to dry quickly, she can get dressed very quickly. Once you are self-tanned you are going to need to moisturize at least every night. Maybe every night and every morning. That will extend your self-tanner. We talked about: self-tanning, how to get ready for self-tanning, how to put it on, how to make it wear well, and don’t forget when you are ready to start again, get rid of all it and start with a clean slate. Happy Tanning!
